Do they make a chip or anything to let me go past 110mph? With my Intake i was able to go about 112mph but that could be because my tires might not inflated to the right psi. Do the 5 spd paths also have this problem? Also does anyone know if the make any headers for the path or any other performance parts besides the stillen intake and exaust?
yea there is man i was think bout gettin fo my path too. its called a speen limit defencer made by hks. they actually kind two kinds i forgot the name of the other. i would suggest droppin ur ride too cuz goin that fast ur turing is gonna be garbage!! im was thinkin bout droppin my path to right above the tires mayb a little higher but around there...u get the idea. throwin some nice 18 or 19s on em. u kno wat im sayin. i was thinkin bout makin my shii fast too but dawg fo realz its a suv u gonna have to change ur tires too. i mean the tires u prly got now are only capable to handle speeds of 105 or so. if u want some top speed u gotta change a lot more stuff bro. think bout it man i dont want you to waste ur money. get a sports car...i got a 00 Mustang GT too and thas wat made me want to put some speed im the suv.
I am not really trying to get my path that fast but it would be nice to be able to go past the limit, especially after i plan to put a turbo on my ride. I love the car and i just want to beat a lightning, which are pretty sick but that is pretty much my goal. I get parts pretty much at cost so it would be easier. thanks for the info bro.
dawg there is no way in hell that your gonna beat a lighting! you have to drop like 3-4 sec and that shii is hard! but hey best of luck post ur progress i would love to hear bout it.
You might also want to note that the Light Truck tires that came on your truck probably aren't speed rated to handle those speeds. And neither is your suspension. Remenber, its an SUV. The Lightning was designed by Ford to go fast, not traverse mountain trails. Good luck though
