Error codes P1441/1447 - EVAP system
The SES light came on in my 97 Pathfinder. I am getting the following error codes:
P1441 - Vacuum cut bypass valve or circuit fault
P1447 - EVAP purge flow monitor fault
For the first one, the vacuum cut valve (according to the Haynes manual) looks easy enough to get at & change. Any thoughts?
For the second, is the EVAP purge valve what the code is refering to? The manual doesn't reference a "purge flow monitor".
As far as the EVAP system is concerned, is it better to just take to a shop?? I'm not too mechanically inclined, and the EVAP system seems compicated.
