left hand to right hand drive swap

Hey guys, i have been searching all over the place for a right hand drive steering box for my 96 nissan hardbody. I am doin a right hand drive conversion and i got everythin inline except i need a right hand drive steering box to make it complete and driveable. I am custom molding a silvia dash in it when ever i get the motor (of course the sr20det). So if anyone has any idea where i can purchase the right hand drive steering box i would greatly appreciate the info.

Try the salvage importer you are getting the Sylvia stuff from.I think the RHD versions are used in Australia and New Zeland(the Frontier is called the Navarra there). You could also get a left hand drive Sylvia dash from a 240sx and just swap clusters. The swap of dashes may be difficult due to the shape and height of the Sylvia dash-especially the "waterfall"where the HVAC controls an radio are.

The reason why i want to is because i want to fuck with peoples heads and i would just like to own a right hand drive vehicle and its a hell of alot easier to do it on a truck than a car. To do so all i need is the steering box.

thanks man i appreciate the support. I found a local parts guru. He found me a right hand drive steering box for my truck but he need to know exactly what kinda model and everything i had cause he said they had some from 300 to 900 bucks. Hopefully thats all i need. I am also trying to find a 97 240 se rear end full suspension and differential. i gotta hair brain scheme up my sleeve for my truck. Oh yeah for your front clip check out flashoptions.com. The have alot of front clips there and pretty cheap not to bad though.

ummm maybe, but i really dont care. Its mostly gonna be for show and weekend riding around. But i really dont see why not cause you can bring right hand drive cars here and drive them on the road cause i seen a couple old like exotic cars here. OH yeah and i am probably gonna have to tell my insurance company about it, but i know damn well that will boost my payments or i can keep it sleepin for them.

exactly man, i just wanna break some peoples necks, when they go to turn around and look. I can care less for car show trophies ya know. To me its all about respect in your ideas and workmanship. I just got back from Nopi Nationals in Atl and ran into a company that sells motors and whole front clips and they said they got the cheapest prices around and if they dont they will beat others prices. But i mean they had a friggin sr20det motor sittin right there on a crate and told me i could take it for 1200. The down fall is that it had a cut harness and no ecu. But still thats pretty cheap for a motor and tranny. So much shit to be done to my piece and so lil money for it, hahahahah. I think thats most people prob too. Well as long as i get the damn conversion finished i will be happy for a while. OH yeah pick up the latest minitruckin mag. It has a bad ass pathfinder in it.
