I was lucky enough to find a 2001 s/c king cab 4x4 for 17k with 4k miles on the OD. what a steal.
but check it.
i am looking for parts like crazy, every website, every offroad shop...why dont we have any after market support?
I am looking for good stuff by name brands, not just K&N.
So i contacted AEM intakes, and they offered to make a brute force intake app. should be avail in a few months.
also. I would like to hear what you all have done as far as performance mods.
and to what extensive offroading mods you have done to your s/c 4x4s.
what trials and errors have you all come up with over the course of modifying your trucks. please let me know anything in regards to maint issues or perf products.
i would like to hear your opinions. thanks guys.
I have heard that the air temp sensor and MAF sensor can be quirky when running an aftermarket intake. I think there are a few companies offering an oversize performance exhaust. The dealer might be your best bet for high quality aftermarket parts and accessories. Aaron

who makes gauge pods for our trucks? any suggestions? locking hubs? manual or arb air lockers? anyone have this set up? is there any suspension lifts available which do not require you to crank the torsion bars on the 4x4????
anyone had the s/c replaced with one which prioduces more boost?
smaller pulllies, any u/d or crank pullies?

I stated before you can get smaller SC pullies those produce more boost, but increase failure rates of the SC.
You can add a SAFC, etc to tune it more, but as far as a boost controller, I doubt you would see much as the trucks only produce 5-7 psi anyway.
Warn makes locking hubs, ARB offers rear lockers.
Try searching some and you will find lifts. All lifts require cranking the tbars, despite the fact they come with new arms.
No one I know of has swapped SCs with different ones.
Guage pillars can be had at www.gaugepods.com the ones made right now fit the 2001-1998 Frontiers. A group buy has been started over on www.nissanfrontier.net for ones that will work with the 2002 + trucks

I haven't seen any boost controllers either and I don't think they're possible considering that it is a belt-driven blower -- the pulley is the only real control of the boost! That and the vacuum line mod for preventing boost pressure dump.
