Angry Rough Idle / Engine Light On

I am going nuts! When I drive my 1994 Pathfinder on the highway she runs great but when I stop and start to idle the Check Engine light comes on and the engine starts to idle rough like it was running on 3 cylinders or something. When I start moving again it takes a couple minutes but then the light goes out and it runs fine again. Please any feedback would be appreciated.

Run your codes and see what is triggering the check engine light. Click on the the first post on this (truck/pathy) site and look at the first reply(Tolleyy). It is a step by step breakdown of what is required to do this. I printed it out today and found I have a problem in my air temp sensor that is triggering a CE light when the engine is at idle. Causes no probs, just the light. Reply back to your own post with what code you come up with and we will try to help you from there. Aaron

Unhappy

I have found that the number 3 injector is missing a signal sometimes. It is the computer or something with the wiring or electrical harness. This is a real nut buster because I now have to take it to the dealer and you know what that means.Unless I find an electrical genius here in Miami Lakes.I think I am gonna buy a new truck.

Never had this happen with any Nissan, but on my old GMC that type of problem turned out to be a bad(they get sticky) EGR valve. I don't even know if your Path has an EGR valve, but if it does, I would check that .
