A friend of mine tried that on his 3.8 stang. And here is what he said about it. "Uhh I think I can feel a difference". To be honest I pulled that piece of trash out when I borrowed the car because I wanted better mileage. One of the most common mileage killers is the oxygen sensor(s). But the first thing to do is a tune up. If you've already done this, think about the o2 sensors next. Change the ones closest to the engine first.

I'll snoop around for a dyno I once saw about the "tornado". Where a 5.0 camaro lost a couple of HP to that thing. And get this!. The owner called the man who sold him the part. He said(the Rep) that the tornado was supposed to be used in conjunction with a K/N filter. Hah,go figure.

Yeah, seems like a load of crap to me.I think it's an overpriced item for something that's just a few pieces of sheetmetal.

Believe it or not, a $3 bottle of fuel injector cleaner helped the mileage on my 97 pathfinder. Went from about 16-19 mpg. It was quite noticeable. I drive 600 miles a week so it is real easy for me to see the difference. Cheap fix if it works.

Hey if it works for you. Great. But here is the site lovemyser was talking about. I guess it has different affects on different vehicles.

Here's the site http://www.salemboysauto.com/tornado.htm

i believe it when they say that it give no power increase because i havent felt a difference but my mpg on my pathfinder is a lot better now. Half tank i got about 150 miles usually i get about 120 miles. i agree there is no power jump but my mpg are a lot better. my friend put it in his 95 lexus and he said his car drove xactly the same but he jus got better mpg out of his tank. i would suggest to anyone that want better fuel economy, not power increase!

If it was going to help, wouldn't Nissan put in something like it at the factory? In Fact didn't they used to do it with back in the 1980s? I read in Consumer Reports that the Tornado didn't help at all.

shii worked for me and my mpg is only getting better. maybe consumer reports is right but what car did they test it on? it proly doesnt work on all cars. worked on my friends lexus and it worked on my pathfinder. im happy and he is happy with it. do what you want. i would buy it, try it, and if it dont work return it. you get 30 days to return it. ohh yea last gas tank mostly highway miles, 320 miles with torando air, before with out it 255 pushing it.

Nissan did on the KA engine, It's built into the intake manifold.
