Hey friends,
Does anybody know if the pass. side lock unit can be accessed from the outside, versus tearing apart the interior of the door? The unit must've rattled apart 'cause I can hear it swinging around inside the door (arm, or some part.) If I try to unlock with a key... the key gets real stuck-like and doesnt come out. This happened for the first time at a desolate Colorado campsite, which incited a small amount of panic, I must say.

BTW- it's a 1987 Hardbody

You need to take the door panel off since the lock has a clip that holds it in from the backside. If you try to pry it off from the outside you'll just end up bending sheetmetal.

Check all the little plastic clips on the lock rod assemblies too since those tend to wear after time and break.
