If you go to test drive the vehicle make sure you take it out for a while. Let the engine warm up to normal running temp and try to take it on the highway to see how it goes. Many engine problems do not occur until the vehicle has been warmed up so a long test drive is recommended. Get underneath the truck and see how the exhuast looks and make sure that their is no rust on the frame. Check the difference in tire tread in the back. If one sides worn more than the other, its obviouse the truck was beat on because the previous owner burned out. Also listen for any noises when driving the vehicle to see if the suspension is good or if anything else on the vehicle may need replacement.
