Any performance mods the the Murano??

My mom just got one and I wanted to know what I can do to help it breath better. It has the same engine as the Altima, Max and 350Z, just different HP varations?? So with intakes and engine stuff be able to work on the Murano?

Thanks
Steven

Good luck

Until one is released for the Murano, I'd wait. There are slight differences with various products that use the same engine....

But, if you are mechanically inclined, you can fabricate your own using any of the kits available for the V6 Altima/Maxima as a starting point. The Murano is Altima platform based so I doubt that Nissan swayed too far from family engineering.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the UR/SWA underdrive pulleys are the same for the Murano. Again, either wait until it is released for the Murano or buy one for the Alti/Max and bolt it on.

Catback exhausts are pretty specific and you'll need to wait or have a muffler shop build one.

Using synthetics will also free up a couple of HP.

Using a bottle of Redline water wetter(or competitor like Purple Ice) will improve the cooling system which will make the vehicle less octane sensitive.

Thanks man
Yea, I was looking at intakes for the Max and Altima. They do sell different types for both, but there pretty much the same.. I think im also going to wait and see. ..

So will the underdrive pulleys work in a Murano?? How hard is the install??

Thanks for help
Steven
