3.5 Path has 240-250hp
3.3 S/C X has 210hp

Drivetrains and weight are similar.
An Xterra doesn't stand a chance!
Pathfinder will win.

Why are you racing SUV's?

"Those damn rice rockets"???

Nissans ARE those damn rice rockets! Get a Chevy and then make that statement.

I have to agree with 2000SE that a Pathfinder will win against an Xterra.

Having a 5-speed 4x4 SE, it is fun to rev those 250 ponies on tap. It is equally hypnotic to hear that V6 pull to redline. But all that fun comes with a price: 21.1 gallons to fill at the pump is quite a tab to swallow. Pathys are meant to cruise in, though they may be capable of smoking some cars out there...

But alas, so long as Pilots/MDX's, 4Runners, Trailblazers, V6 Tuaregs, and RX330s roam the freeways, I'd expedite that turbocharging plan of yours.

If you want to race your SE, then more power to you (no pun intended). And when you're done, let me know what psi you're running.

yea the P-finder is fast but i need that turbo. but that is more of a summer project. but rowboat how did you find a 5 speed? i am thinking about putting a 5 speed tranny but since they are so rare i dont think i could find a salvaged one. hmm any advice on that? because i dont want to be shifting my turbo automatically because that is going to be too weak.

What performance mods have you done to your pathfinder already (pimppathfinder02)? Do you have any pics, you should post some on cardomain.com . I've got an 01 3.5 se pathfinder with a stillen air intake as my only true performance mod. I hope to soon get the stillen exhaust and then a mid pipe from frankencar. I read somewhere on this forum that they are trying to get a project 3.5 pathfinder with ecu upgrades and all that good stuff, the url was http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/ . Peace

In an SUV? You'll get beaten by just about any "rice rocket". I've got a 4 cylinder Frontier for daily driving, but my true love is my 2002 Z28 - now that's FAST!
