So I put GL-5 in my tranny about 5months ago. Should I just swap it out or mabye flush the tranny. Swap it drive it around and then swap it out again . What do you guys think. I am going to do this tonight after work if I can find the right fluid. I may just have to go to NIssan and get something from them. But I got to do something.
Get that GL5 out of there and use Redline MT-90 GL4 tranny fluid. It makes that tranny shift soooo smooth. I did the same thing with adding GL5. My 3rd gear started grinded after a month of use. I then I just drained out the GL5 and put in Redline MT90 oil and what a huge difference that made... no more grinding and has been fine for a 2 years now. Here's a link for redline oil to find a dealer close to you:
Has anyone heard of MTL or Shockproof from Redline. They are the same price as the MT-90 the shockproof is supposed to be good any but have any experience.
I use the mt-90 in n/a cars and shockproof in the turbo's. Eather one will be ok for you. The price is about the same.

I'm just a monkey. I don't know shit.
In the white SE-R when the AMG benz did the ricer fly by on 408 :)
Put mt-90 in last night. After 6 months or so the volvaline in there was all gray and crappy looking. The tranny this morning on the way the work seemed silky smooth, no clunks when going in to gear.
I'm very happy, Im going to get the Redline and put it in the rear end and mabye in the front diff.
