Hello all, my wife and I own a 2004 Murano and we recently moved from CT to TX. During the move we used a uhaul 4x8 trailer and a uhaul hitch that they installed. After we dropped on the tailer the car is nowing running different, we are getting bad gas mileage(instead of 300miles to a tank were getting 150-175) also sometimes the car bogs when leaving from a stop sign or a redlight. Im posting this to see if any of you have any ideas on what is going on before I take it to our local nissan dealer. Any replies would be great.

is the CEL(check engine light) on? how many tanks has it been since you towed something? does TX have ethanol?

i wonder if your vheicle has some how become stuck in 4x4 mode due to the long trip

try reseting the cars ECU just take off the battery connections for 2-5mins and then put it back on. that might help...

if it doesnt get it to the dealership right away, the sooner you fix it the sooner it will cost you less in gas which is gonna up up up

check the airintake after the air filter.. it can leak and cause this problem
