Hello, all:

Recently, I was hauling a compressor around in my 1995 Nissan Pickup. I had to break suddenly, and the compressor handle came through the back hatch windows; the pickup has three windows: one window behind the passenger, one window behind the driver, and a middle window that slides on a track. I went to the Nissan dealership and purchased two new windows for the pickup. They aren't coming for another three days, so I thought I'd do some research as to how to replace these windows. However, I have looked in my Chilton's manual and on the Internet and NissanForums, but I cannot find a single piece of information regarding my predicament. Does anyone know how to accomplish this task? Thank you for your help in this matter.

You might try downloading your Factory Service Manual at PhatG20 - Home. The entire window unit comes out by prying the rubber seal... took the window guy about 10 minutes total to replace the full unit. I shot a bungee cord into mine and broke one of the windows. I have glass coverage with my insurance, so I didn't actually do it myself. If it happened again, I would really consider buying a whole used unit from a junk yard.
