Clutch Rattle is driving me crazy!

Hey gang, I need your opinions. I just replaced the clutch on my '90 p/u, and now I get a pretty loud rattle when coasting with the clutch engaged, generally around 35-50 mph. It seems somewhat intermittent. The rattle hasn't seemed to have hurt the performance of the new clutch - it grabs well, doesn't appear to be slipping, don't think that it's the pilot or release bearing (both new). I have checked the u-joints after driving and all are cold. I replaced the center bearing about 3 mos. ago, and it too is not hot after highway operation. The rear bearing area on the transmission is also cold after highway operation. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Did you resurface the flywheel?
Defective new components?
Motor, tranny, suspension mounts?
Replace the Ujoints if they have lots of miles.
Fluid level in tranny/rearend?
Wheel bearing?

2000SE,

Thanks for your thoughts.

Flywheel - yes
Mounts - Not replaced or inspected
U-Joints - Replaced all of them last fall
Fluid Levels - checked OK
Wheel Bearing - Don't think so, but don't know.
Defective New Components - A possibility

The rattle is gone today. 3 days ago, it was pretty loud. I don't know what is going on.
