nissan quest 1996 transmission fluids

anyone knows how many quarts to fill a nissan quest 96 transmission , after draining out the fluid. I put in 7 quarts of trans fluid , but i m not sure it's enough. I know the maxima auto trans need about 10 quarts ...Am I short of 3 quarts ??? thanks

6 1/2 to 7 quarts - parts 70 dollars, 7 quarts dexron 3 auto fluids, 2-3 hours labor

I replaced with 7 quarts of dexronIII transmission fluids. be careful, the bolts on the strainer are not at the same length !!!!
My Quest runs like a champ now. Here another trivia, how do I replace the control knob of the passenger side that raise/lower glass window, my is broken, a piece of cheap plastic that broken due to my father-in-law's strong finger !!!!! so now I have to control the function through the left side window...I like to have back up switch/knob...If any one has tried.please let me know. Thanks
