95 Quest Gauge Cluster

I ran a search on this topic, but couldn't find the answer.

We have a 95 Quest as a cargo/work van. Last night, my father realized that the gauge cluster stopped working. The needles on the speedometer, tach, and everything else still work. I guess it has just stopped illuminating.

Any guesses as to what could be the culprit?

Did you check and see if the dimmer switch for dash lamps is turned down ??

do any other accessories illuminate ?
or is it just the guage lights?

It's only the guage cluster.

I dunno if this follows true for Quests, but for Pathfinders in 95 or so they switched to LED lighting behind the gauges and if the first ones ceases to function the rest follow. I may be wrong.
