more power

i have a sohc ka24 in my 1994 hardbody and i need to know if i can take a head off a nissan dohc 240sx ka24 motor so hopefully i will get more power from a dohc

You can but the timing cover is different. Find a '98+ frontier KA24DE and use that - Get the front cover, timing sprockets, and head. Compression will be like 11 to 1 so you'll need to run premium fuel but its a nice gain in itself. Look over on the NICO forum /KA discussion - Lots of good 411 there.
