What performs best???

I recently acquired a 1986 Nissan hardbody pickup and would like to know what spark plugs and wires perform the best??? The horn doesn't work and was wondering what is the likely cause for it not to work?? The fuse is o.k. so where do I look now?? Probably something very simple to fix. How complicated is changing out the radiator?? This one is bent up pretty bad and although it runs I'm concerned about getting out on the road and having it run hot. It been very very hot in Georgia the last month or so!! Thanks!!

when I had my 86 720 KC I used "Autolite" spark plugs and they worked great, its really a personnal preference, as far as the wires I'd use an 8mm set. check the horn relay and connection at the horn and steering wheel, radiators arent hard to change/swap just be sure to bleed the air out of the system when your done. does the truck have a/c and are you sure your not talking about the condenser in the frt?

NGK plugs work best, pick your poison on wire sets. I couldn't say if there's a difference between any wire sets or not.

I bet the horns are just plain fried. They're under the bumper. You could take one off and test it with direct battery power to see if it still works or not.

The radiator is pretty easy. Screwdriver and a 10mm socket set. Take a look.

If the horn isn't getting a good ground, that could cause it to not work. My 93 was bent up pretty bad from a couple fender-benders, and I had to crank the horn bolt down pretty tight to get it to work.

aaaaaayes, it does have a/c but it isn't working because my Dad had a wreck many years ago and he never got the a/c fixed. The horn problem may go back that far seeing that they are under the bumper and the front of the truck sustained considerable damage. Both the condenser and radiator are curved instead of straight. I noted that the radiator needed ethylene glycol after just a few hundred miles. It wasn't down to the fins but was close. I can't see any ovious leaks but there must be one in order to need to put EG in the radiator so soon. The overflow was full and didn't need any. I'm trying to get it fixed up so it can be a daily driver for 6-months of the year seeing that it might require too much work to rebuild the a/c system. I'm concerned that the seals in the a/c system may be bad seeing that it hasn't run in many years. I put NGK plugs in and hope that it will get me a few more miles per gallon. I estimate it gets 23 on the road and hope a good tuneup with the new tires its got will help increase the MPG's.Any suggestions????
