How to install Sunpro Engine temp and oil psi guages.

Hey guys, I got the Sunpro set of three guages at Autozone yesterday and battery voltage went on without a hitch. I'm having a problem hooking up the other two though. For the temperature, the temperature sending unit (I'm assuming it replaces the stock engine coolant temperature sensor) is too big. So how in the heck am I going to fix that? And next, where can I hook up the little hose to the Oil PSI gauge to get a reading that's right? Thanks for the help.

You'll have to get a sending unit for both the coolant temp and the oil pressure, then tap them in in the appropriate place. 'Course, if you unplug the stock sensors, your ECU might not work the same and your engine will run poorly.

I've been looking at that as well. I have the same setup, the oil pressure, you need to use a t-fitting with the stock one. look here http://nissan4wheelers.com/eve/forum...31#11010393031
be careful how you run the plastic line if that is the one you got. as far as the coolant temp I'm still working on that.

if the coolant temp sensor is one wire, wouldnt he just be able to tap into it or is it a mechanical type gauge? i personally dont like the mechanical oil pressure gauge. something about a little plastic line full of pressurized oil running thru firewalls and chafing against things in my cab doesnt seem right...
