Jack up, remove wheel/tire. Support lower control arm with jackstand. Unbolt lower balljoint. Remove BJ nut. Use balljoint puller to pop the pin loose. Remove, toss in trash. Reinstall is the reverse of removal. Don't have a Chilton's?

some have 3 bolts underneath the lower a-arm.if you don't see bolts then the ball joint is pressed into the lower a-arm.a special tool is required to press out the old and install the
new one and it can be done on the vehicle, some of your independent mechanic's have this tool kit.the zone may have a kit you could borrow? pricie tool kit ,300.00,not for the home mechanic.
