200PS NAvara?

Hello from Greece,

While I m waiting for my new Navara (174ps) i saw an advertisment on tv for the new 200ps Navara..

When i called Nissan they told me that it is a ECU chip and if i want they can put it to my new Navara and so i did.

But the day after, they called me and told me that they can't put this chip on my navara cause my car is auto gear.(automatik)

Have you heard smth about this?

Sorry for my bad english and thank you in advance

Why are you posting this in the off-road section?

I have an aftermarket chip for my 174PS navara - it is now about 200PS.

I bought mine on ebay - it was called powerclick

it looked like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DIGITAL-DIESEL...QQcmdZViewItem

I'd be careful with those aftermarket "power chip" boxes. Most of them are fake or do little, the ones that do something can have dangerous side effects. Case in point...on a diesel it may just increase the wastegate opening point which will allow more boost from the turbo and therefore more power, but at the added expense of heating up the turbocharger more and possibly causing other problems nobody thought of when they made that "power chip" and started marketing it on Ebay.

Is your navara auto? Cause the official Nissan at Greece told me that they can;t fix the 200 ps chip at my car because it is auto gear car... Have you heard something for non fixed Ecu chip because of the car's gear?
