adjusting the throttle position switch

I suspect I need to replace my throttle position switch which isn't too tough. However, I'm confused over how to adjust it. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

there are a couple of posts on the forum about this, try doing a search. I believe Spat was the one telling how.

Well I guess I didn't realize I could search. So I did and finally found something posted by SPAT regarding the TPS. However, he still uses a term I don't understand. Unfortunately my mechancial skills are a lot better than my electrical.

Thanks for the enlightenment

Sorry for the delay in responding. Been BZEE.

Spat says to "back probe the positive lead on the center wire" and its best to use a T-pin. What exactly is back probing and where can you get a T pin? Also, I thought the center wire was the ground, but that's going on bad memory.
