97 Nissan Pick up 2wd

Hi, I currently have my transmission out and pulled it apart to inspect the gears. Upon reassembly i noticed that there was 2 detent balls instead of 1 is this normal or does only 1 go in there? Also what is the torque that's desired for the shift detent bolts?

Thanks,
Aaron Phelps

Don't know, but you can download the Factory Service Manual (FSM) here:

Hope it helps.

Thank You Rob, i was wondering if you guys did have a FSM floating around, much like the 91 MR2 turbo i own. I haven't done a search on this site for my question, mainly because I figured it wasn't a question anyone probably has asked. But the FSM should tell me the torque that the bolts take and it should be give me a much better, step by step process compared to the Haynes Manual.
