WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!
Seriously all you probably need to do is go to autozone and have them plug in their OBD-II reader and clear your CEL. This is a FREE service. The EGR is not a known problem but there is an evap canister located near the fuel tank that'll f-up sometimes and throw a code.
Is your CEL on now? If so, please go to your nearest autoparts store and request that they run a diagnostic on your truck. If they want money, get in your truck and drive to the next auto parts place, untill someone somewhere scans your computer free of charge. When you have the codes please come back to this thread and post them.
Code should look like P#### (# indicates some number. like P0440. there are 4 digits)
