1998 Frontier Knock sensor
I have a Nissan P/U Nissan Frontier and this is my problem.
I got the truck in 1999 with a 15K on the meter. Every year around November, I have to change one the following things.
The knock sensor and/or rotor
The truck works fine for a year. Is only to go back and foward to work.As of today the truck has 112K. NO towing or hauling of any kind. But every year around this time, the check engine light comes on and I pull the codes or take it to the shop and is the same problem. The rotor is crack or the knck sensor is bad.
I have change from regular spark plugs to PLATINUM +4. From regular spark plugs wires tu BOSCH ( don't know if it make any difference). In other words I have gone from the good to the best in the most expsnsive parts in the market and the problem is the same. 6 years of changing the same parts
Anyone knows what is going on?
