hi yall, heres the lowdown. just swapped my 94 hardbody cab and bed onto a 84 4x4 chassis, engine and drivetrain. the 94 has an electrical speedo, wires coming from the gear that meshes with final drive instead of a cable. how in the hell can i make this work ? tried just hooking up the red wire to red and white to white, nogo. is there some input from eccm also? i cant get the tach towork either. where does it get data from other than the distributor?

your 84 is cable operated while the 94 is electronic more then likely youll have to find a speedo out of a 84 or do some serious wiring which even then im not sure if the ecu on the 84 is equiped for a electical speedo
