88 PU 4X4, just replaced the head gasket, engine starts great, idle is fine. When I try and bring up RPMs above approx 2500, the engine surges (sort of cuts out) then up again. When I spray ether in the TB, it takes the fuel and RPMs increase. Any ideas. Oh replaced the fuel filter also. New plugs, wires, too.

Any HELP would be appreciated. My plow truck and snow is coming!!!!!

Read the ECU, it read 11,22,33,44,55. This seems hookie, the lights (green and red) flashed at the same time.

COULD BE OXYGEN SENSOR. IT CONTROLS FUEL RATIO. THE SENSOR COULD BE CLOGGED AND READING A WRONG MIXTURE AND COULD CAUSE THIS. IM NOT AN EXPERT BUT ITS JUST A SUGGESTION. THEY COST ABOUT $30.
