I warped the head and the block on my 87 hardbody. I've called all the junkyards and looked on ebay for a head or block. Couldn't find anything but rebuild kits on ebay. Closest yard with anything useful is like cleveland or youngstown. Both are over 2 hr. drives for me. Would it be possible to run a ka head on my block, or any other 4 cylinder head. Anything would be helpful. Maybe someone out there has something for sale, if so plz PM me! Thanks.

If you warped both the head and the block, I'd look for a complete engine.

i am fairly sure it IS possible to run a ka head on the z. www.nissanminis.com

go the the performance section, and look at the second sticky. it requires some mods, but it will work if i remember correctly.

Which engine do you have, I'm guessing a NAPZ. I live in California and heads arent to difficult to find. There are even a couple of Nissan only yards in the LA area. Let me know the details and I'll see whats available.

I doubt you warped the block. Have you checked for sure? You can get a rebuilt head from any parts house.

A KA24 head (single cam) will fit, so I've been told. The KA24DE is a tough fit and requires much fabrication.
