1997 nissan truck not getting fuel

Hello, I have a 1997 nissan truck with a 2200 four cylinder engine in it that was flooded. I,m having a problem not getting fuel. I have checked the fuse and relay both are good. I have dropped the gas tank. And pulled the pump. Ok heres my Question? I have six wires going to the fuel pump. One wire is hot when the key is turned on. ( white green). But the pump will not work. Is there another wire that is supposed to be hot or is that it? I cant find a book for for a 1997 to find out.

The truck has a 2400 (2.4L) engine, not a 2200. Nissan never made a 2200 engine for the truck. Is this why you can't find information in the book?

I have a Hayne's repair manual and it tells me everything about it.

I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, I just wanted to clarify that first.

FLOOD

How bad was it flooded? Was it under water up to the fuse panel?

I'am thinking there is another hot that supplies voltage when vevhicle is running. That way when the vehicle dies it doesn't supply fuel to a none running vehicle.

Though it supplies some voltage to start (the wire your found?)

You're right, I apologize. They did make a 2.2L engine, but never in the hardbody.
