Armada 2005 tow pack function

does the factory tow package operate the brakes on the trailer or do you have to add a control unit under the dash? Thanks.

It is not listed as a feature of the package, so probably not. I'm sure if it was a feature, they would be bragging about it, because Ford has it on their trucks (F250 & 350 i think) anyone know for sure?

I don't know, but what do you have for a connector on your wiring harness? Does it have a connection for trailer brakes?

NISSAN ARAMADA TOW PACKAGE

NISSAN SITE SAYS THE TOW PACK INCLUDES A 7 PIN WIRING HARNESS PLUG AND TRAILER BRAKE PRE-WIRING .....SO I GUESS A CONTROL UNIT IS NECESSARY TO OPERATE TRAILER BRAKES. ANY COMMENTS?
