My dash lights have gone out, but I have everything else. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I ran into that before, took me a minute to realize someone had turned the dimmer switch. Check fuses and wires under the dash.

I turned the thumb wheel back and forth and still no lights. The fuse box doesn't mention dash lights being on a fuse. I wondered if it was the dimmer switch itself that is bad. Any other ideas? Are there fuses under the hood that pertain to the dash?
