Do GM wheel hubs need to be "drilled out" to fit 2wd?

jrz24 Sorta-Newbie Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: Long Island NY Posts: 12	Do GM wheel hubs need to be "drilled out" to fit 2wd? I was on another nissan truck site and there was a mod for gm wheels to open up the center hub holes to 4".Is this true? I have a set of Denali wheels waiting for me at my shop! 88pathoffroad Moderator Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Salem, OR Posts: 3,557	On a 2WD, it shouldn't make much difference, there are no hubs to fit the wheels over anyway. Most Chevy wheels have a center hole with less than a 4" hole, and Nissan 4WD hubs require a 4" hole. That's about it.
