1995 Quest + intermittent check engine light

HI ALL...THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME A READ. My Quest is 10 years old and the odometer reads 151000. Lately the temperature around this area has averaged 105 daily and 85 night-time. For the last few days the "check engine soon" light has been flickering on and off. It will begin when i am idling at a light, and usually turn off as we begin moving again, altho once in awhile it stays on for several miles at speeds of 15pmh or less. I have checked the engine oil, the radiator and anti-freeze solutions and those levels are fine.

I can't seem to find any info on the www., any one have some suggestions or the ability to point me to were i might find more info?

You need to find out what codes your computer is capturing. Usually, there is a sequence of ignition key actions, or inserting a fuse, or something that can trigger the Check Engine light to blink its codes out for you. The method would probably be listed in a Haynes or Chiltons manual. But, I've also read on this forum recently that most auto parts stores will now read the codes for you. That'd be the best way to start this diagnosis/repair.
