2001 Pathfinder- SE- door lock problems

[b]For some reason my back door lock does not work with auto unlock. I have to manually unlock. However it locks with the autolock with the exception of few ties. Any ideas of why this is happening. Is it mechanical problem of electronic. Your help is greatlly apprecaited.

is it only 1 door? if it is all 3 doors other than driver, you have to press unlock twice on the remote to unlock all doors. The unlock button unlocks the driver door the 1st time. If you need to unlock the other doors, you have to press the unlock button a 2nd time. Sometimes you may have to keep pressing or holding it down. Depends on your battery right now i think.

yes it is only 1 door. The problem is outside of normal lock/unlock operation.
