have any of you guys tried to replace the 4 cyl with the 6 cyl???
can it be done??
or would it be cheaper to rebuild,,,a guy told me a rebuild was about $2000.
170,000 miles on the black beast
i just rebuilt mine... retard previous owners didnt change the oil... not once... anywho... it cost about 1500...this entailed sandblasting the heads and block, turning the crank, new torque converter, new piston, all new rings, bearings, gaskets, oil, and a thermostat... as for converting to the v6... you will have MANY more problems... lol.. have fun..
it was a work truck at a pestcontrol/landscape company... the guy told me that they dont have time to change stuff... the only time they have time is rainy days and he said that he still goes out in the rain... i got the truck for 1500 and spent a good 1500 on parts and the tuning..
