Kobalt Sockets

Hey, I jus got a set of Kobalt Sockets, 1/2 drive for my breaker bar and torque wrench. My roommate used the bit to loosen his lug nuts and the bit cracked in 3 places. It's a 12-point socket. Does Kobalt have a lifetime warranty on their stuff? Will Lowes replace the bit?

Actually, scratch this post. I saw Lifetime Hassle Free Gurantee on the item decsription, I headed to lowes with my receipt (good thing I save all my receipts) and swapped out the entire set. In and out in 3 minutes.

yup.. just take them back and show them the broken one.. don't even bother with the receipt usually...

then again, I haven't had any of my Kobalt sockets break yet, and I use them on my bigass impact wrench every day.
