Hello there everyone. When it comes to cars, I know diddly squat. But thanks to a guide I found online I was miraculously able to replace a headlight in my car, but it didn't quite go as planned.
Being the novice that I am, I figured it wouldn't be too hard to do in the dark, the directions were very straight forward and easy to follow, and it wasn't all that bad. However, I've somehow managed to misplace the fasteners that were holding the air dam in place. I talked with someone at my job yesterday and he told me I could go to a store and buy the fasteners I needed to get the job done.
So, today I had a little free time so I figured I would do just that. The first store I went to, they just pointed me to a shelf and wished me luck. The next store, they knew what they were doing, but said they didn't have the right fasteners for my car and I take their word for it, they were nice people. Third store I went to, the guy I asked mocked me first before pointing me to a very limited assortment of nuts and bolts made for GM's and Fords.
I figured if going online could help me change my headlight, another run around the net my get me help with this little endeavor. But ya, that's my story in a nutshell. If anyone has an ideas on what I can do or where I can look, I would be very grateful.
