1. read owners manual on those tools. it tells you everything you need in there.
2. how often do you use them?
for most home-shops, you can simply buy a bottle of air tool oil and squirt some in them every few times you use them.
3. for daily use as a mechanic, you're going to need to oil them daily.. I have an auto-oiler system on my air compressor that squirts a fine mist of oil into the air hose as I use it. when I'm doing bodywork or painting or otherwise need clean air, I have a "T" in the line just before the oiler with a second regulator and I use a second hose on it that isn't full of oil. keeps fisheyes out of the paint that way.
