I recently purchased a 2004 Titan SE King with the big tow package. I have returned to the dealership twice now for what I thought was a rear tire out of balance. Anyone else have this problem?
Has Good Years I guess. I don't know how many miles are on it, but I had a problem with our lincoln Navigator which I though was the same thing, turns out the tire had started to seperate causing the problem. Have they rotated the tires to the front and seen if the problem transfers with them? Does it do it all the time or just when you use the brakes?

That's What I say!!!
Separation of tread from the Cords. Have them pull off the good's or the Conti's and make them throw on BFG or Bridge's.

It does have good-years..........The dealer is trying to replace them with MICHELINS from the factory...........The wobble happens the worst at about 63 MPH.....but it is constant, to some degree, at all speeds..............I only have 1800 miles on this truck.....I have read a few threads about rear end fluid being low, would that cause a vibration?....Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You definately want to check that fluid I have heard soo many bad stories of the factory not filling fluid to the right level. I would have all fluids checked very soon.

I wouldn't complain about that -- about the dealer installing Michelins. Those tires are superior in all ways to any OE tire found on any vehicle. I know of many different kinds of vehicles were a vibration was fixed by installing a set of quality tires. If the tire is far enough out of round, no amount of balancing will fix that.

What speed do you feel the vibration? It may be the driveshaft.

Have them check the axle, the first year Titan's are having axles warping. Not dangerous just annoying. We just replace the entire axle assembly
