Looking to see if anyone else has had any brake problems
My Titan with 15,000 miles. Has required the front brake rotors to be turned 2 times and replaced 1 time, I also had to replace the front pads. I have only pulled a light trailer, and not very far. The brakes are fine after the dealer turns, or replaced the rotors, the rotors start to warp after about 3-4,000 miles. The dealer said he has had to turn a few others on titans and armarda's , and then they were fine. The dealer was the only one to work on the truck, and said they have always used a torque wrench when reinstalling the wheels

It's possible that the front brakes are dragging. Drive on the expressway for a while, and pull off into a rest area. Immediately hop out and feel the front wheels. They should not be hot. Compare them to the rears.
Yes abs and traction control, my guess is the brakes are over heating
The factory apparently forgot to fill the differentials full of fluid on some trucks. Maybe they forgot to lube the caliper slides also.
It sounds like a sticking caliper. The brakes should not be overheating on a truck that's rated to tow over 9000 lbs., unless there's a malfunction somewhere. What are your driving habits and environment like? Live in a hilly area? The brakes on my Cadillac traditionally needed turning every 20,000 miles, and even that was way too often. I ended up putting cross-drilled rotors on it and I haven't touched them in 50,000 miles now. I wonder if anyone makes drilled rotors for a Titan yet.
My fiancee bought an I30 new in 2000 that did the same thing.
At 14,000 miles the rotors were warped. She took it in for warranty work. The dealer refused to do it under warranty, said it was driver abuse.
Funny on her other cars, the brakes lasted 75,000 miles.
The dealer claimed she had ridden the brakes too hard.
I told her to slam the dealer into small claims court. Now she wishes she had taken my advice.
The dealer turned the rotors but the pads were ok.
Since then, every 14,000 miles this has happened again.
The pads last 50,000 miles, but she has had the rotors turned 4 times.
If you will search under this topic in the Maxima section you will see this discussion.
A guy posted up that this happened a lot, the dealers knew all about it and just bs'ed the customers. The problem was, according to this guy, that the rotors were too small, and he has a retrofit that he recommends with larger rotors.
This discussion took place about 6 weeks ago.
I've dealt with warping rotors on the Q every 4-8K miles. Have the dealer check the run-out on the wheel hubs and see if they're in spec. Some Q owners have had some success replacing the bearing/hub assemblies, so that's a good place to start.
I'd keep after them on it while it's still under warranty, so that you have a long, documented service history should you need it later.
