I don't have a titan but I look at them during every oil change!! one time I was there, they were delivering a titan to a customer with dual exhaust already on it and they were showing it off to the customer... I honestly have to say it was the best sounding v8 I've ever heard (used to be a tie between the new GM 5.3 with flowmasters, or a mustang cobra with factory exhaust). I think the salesguy told me they put "Flo-Pro's" on the titans when customers wanted duals.... I don't care what they were they will be on my titan (which is my next truck by the way)!

Later,

There is 2 aftermarket MFG which are 50 state legal for Exhaust and and NISSAN accepted.
NISSAN themselves have the TITAN Perf. Exhaust and Gibson has 1 of the best.
I prefer the side exit single 3-4" . It is cleaner, quieter, as much if not more pwr output and will not cause exhaust fumes to roll behind the bed of the truck.
Just my view.

Question Exhaust

How can I find out more information of these two products. I contact the Nissan dealers in my area and they not heard anythings about the NISSAN TITAN Perf. Exhaust or the Gibson. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It such a new truck...wait a month or two and wait for someone to mass produce a dual exhaust for the titan...otherwise you're gonna end up paying an arm and a leg for a custom job

Gibson has a web page http://www.gibsonperformance.com/
There is also an Intake for them from NISSAN. SEEN IT 1st hand at my DLR I
frequent in the NISMO section.
Also a split just using a mandrel bent with Flowmasters will work EXCELLENTLY.
And as it is Post CAT(CATBACK), it will not void any warranty.

Borla makes excellent stuff. We had a cat-back on a Jeep Grand Cherokee V8. We hung that thing over all sorts of logs, rocks, etc. on Jeep Jamborees and the system was perfect. Dents in the muffler, but the pipes and muffler are stainless steel so it'll last practically forever.

As far as an Armada exhaust fitting the Titan, I doubt it'd be a straight bolt-on. The Armada uses an IRS (Independent Rear Suspension), and the exhaust likely comes over to the center of the vehicle near the differential so as not to interfere with the control arms. Not positive, but that's commonly how it's done. The Titan would be opposite probably -- the exhaust would follow the frame rail and go straight over the axle tube before exiting. If it's not a direct bolt-on, there might be some tweaks that a competent exhaust shop might be able to work out.
