Hello Everyone! This is my first post here. I am a Nissan newbie - the new owner of a radiant silver Titan LE 4X4 King Cab, and I couldn't be happier.
I was wondering if anybody had a picture of a Titan with satellite radio? I'm going to have it added on sometime next week, but I have no idea what the antenna looks like, and how it looks on the truck. I did a search of the forum and the Internet but no dice.

P.S. Is anybody else having to slam their driver's door to get it to shut all the way? I'm having mine adjusted next week and I hope that is all it is.
I don't have a picture, but my XM radio antenna was installed by the dealer. It is black plastic, about half an inch in diameter, about eight inches long. It was attached to upper part of the rear window, directly behind the driver. About three inches of the antenna extends above the roof of the cab, and it folds down for the car wash.

Thanks Farmer-Dave! I may give my dealership a call soon and have them order the appropriate parts to have it installed. I think I'm going to aim at getting a tonneau cover first though, in a desperate attempt to get my gas mileage above 14 . In fact, I'm looking at the Torza Top now...
if you got buy a kit at best buy or circuit city it's a lot cheaper... that's what I did and my antenna is a little black box about the size of a small wallet on the roof about 6 in forward of the high mount taillight/cargo light and the wire run's into the cab trough the light... I think that's the cleanest look.

later,
You know, that's what my dealer told me too. They told me to save my money and buy it later at Circuit City. So instead of buying it with the truck, I waited and talked to a guy at Circuit City who told me that I can do it, but that it cannot be done through the factory Fosgate system. Instead, I would have to hook it up through an FM modulator. If that's the case, then I'd rather get the factory built-in system. If you think I was misinformed, please correct me b/c I'd love to save the dough!
oh yeah if it can be plugged in digitally that's the way to go. I thought the dealer just installed an fm modulated kit. if it goes into the aux on the stereo it sounds much better and if the stereo controls it too, it saves you from having a controller stuck to your dash somewhere. I have an fm modulated kit with my frontier's fosgate and I am a little disappointed with the sound quality due to the problem on the fosgate stereos. I usually only turn it on during trips. I want to get rid of it and get a new head unit but I don't want to lose my steering wheel controls or 6 disc changer (any solution for this?). In my old car I had an alpine stereo that was xm ready with an alpine tuner(plugged in the back of the stereo) and it sounded tons better, just like a cd!
good luck

My dealer-installed Nissan-built XM radio does indeed go directly into the amp, for true digital sound. The quality is equivalent to a CD (unless you're listening to an "oldies" channel, but that's the quality of the source material). I LOVE it!
I made a round trip from San Francisco to Salt Lake City this month, and it was so great to receive all the channels, even in the Sierra Nevada and in the open desert. The radio and the Titan made a normally tiresome trip pleasant.
