While making a left turn into a parking lot this weekend the engine on my brand new Armada LE (less than 1K miles) completely died. I towed it to the Nissan dealer and the initial report is that the engine ECM has completely failed. The tech specialist was not on duty this weekend so I am waiting to get a full diagnostic today.
Has anyone had any issues with the ECM?
Needless to say I am EXTREMELY upset that this has happened on my brand-new vehicle but I am also EXTREMELY concerned because this is a serious safety issue.
It's covered under warranty so you'll be OK!
I have to replace a CVT trans and a TCM on a new '08 Altima with only 1,850 miles! Anything is possible with these "Made in America" Nissans...
