Gas Mileage on 2007 Titan CC SE

Bought the truck 2 weeks ago. I was got 20 m/gal hwy and 9.5m/gal in town. I find hwy is good for ti but town just KILLS. Hopefully it gets better.
I was told to put a K&N air filter in it and that I'd get 2-3 m/gal more.
Anyone tried this on their Titans and did it work?

Many of us have put intakes on our trucks with varying results. You might see a slight improvement in fuel economy provided you can keep your foot out of the gas.
