titan x-band radar detector problem

I have a 2006 titan le with xm sat. radio and a remote start too. My two different radar detectors both false on x-band and the signal seems to be coming from the radio area in the dash. This seems to only happen when the outside air temp is less than 40 f. The colder it is the longer the signal last. Some times it is with me for my 30 min. trip to work. Sometimes I think it might have something to do with daylight too.

I have already tried turning on and off all accessories with no results.

Please help!!!

I have seen this problem on other vehicles when the XM reciever is mounted under the Intrument Panel Carrier (Dash). Un-plug the XM reciever and see if it changes anything. If it makes a difference, try insulating the coax up to the A-pillar on your truck. You can by anti-EIF insulation at fry's or any other large electricl component store.
