Power Outages In Texas

So my parents power went out Tuesday night in Nacogdoches. When they left for Shreveport Wednesday morning at 10am, it was still out. They spent the night in Shreveport becasue they had to pick up my sister at the airport. The power at the hotel they were at went out and was still out this morning when they checked out. The out of state utility crews were checking in as they were leaving. They got back to Nacogdoches around noon today where the power is still out at their house. It will be tomorrow before it comes back on, most likely. My little sister got an apartment there in town, so they are scrambling to get the utilities turned on there so they have an air conditioned place to stay tonight. I guess the are having a fun week, yeah? Any one else lose power in the storms? We lost it twice for about 2 seconds. Not too bad.

No real issues in Lewisville either night. I was lucky since we had hail Tuesday and my car was in the driveway.

No hail damage to my car thankfully. As of 9pm tonight my parents are camped out at my sisters new apartment where the A/C is turned on. Still no power at their house. Hitting the 48 hour mark...Glad I'm here...My sister's first night in her own place and the 'rents are crashing it...

No power outages for us.

Speaking of hail, I still remember
last April when a hail storm
made my SE-R look like a
giant golf ball!
