anyone who wants custom gauges can do them at home.

all you need is a scanner and some heavy photo paper.

Take out your old gauges, pull off the needles very carefully as not to mess up the location of them
scan them at 100% into your computer
open them in a paint or photo program
invert the colors to make them white
draw on them or insert script, pics or whatever
print it out on BEST quality
carefully cut them out with a razor knife.
put colored lights in gauge pods.
reinstall

I am doing mine this week, simple easy and like noone elses.

We have pushed back the engine install because of time and money. We are still planning on having the body and interior done. I am going to get a 3rd car to drive daily, and the HB runs, so we are going to do suspension work before the motor. It should be complete before summer rolls around though.
It'll still be at the meets and I'll keep everyone updated. There will be alot of changes happening to it in the next month though.

I have others, but I won't post them now.

The top one is obviously my speedo, and the bottom would be a tach, but I don't have a factory tach, so it is my little canvas to play with.

chad, thanks for the tip, but i dont think it would work for the trix. I got all excited and then went to my car and it is lights only. Maybe we could look at it sometime??? but i dont think that it would be easy to do customs on mine. BTW, that one you have set up for you tach looks friggen sweeeeeet!!!
