Thumbs up

Man, I LOVE this kind of weather.
I can finally turn off my air conditioning...

I just hope it's not cold and wet for the meet...

Yeah, it sure is cold; cold enough to wake you up. But I love it, being that I am from east where it gets even colder this feels like summer over there.

Talking Monday 11-24-2003

When I got up today (Monday 11-24-2003 at 7AM) it was 32 degrees according to my Matrix Temp Gauge. It is chilly...I guess Winter finally arrived on Sunday night! Later!

I remember last February's snow storm which took me frickin'
7 hours to drive from the Galleria back to Denton.
Then it was in the low 20's...

True, took me 4 hours to get from Bostons in Lewisville. Didn't look at the temp though. Too busy looking at ppl stop on the highway, get out of their cars, knock ice of frozen windshield wipers, resume traffic stance.

Problem?
It seems at least once a year
that Dallas gets pelted with a
snow/sleet storm and it's always
during the work week.

Consequence?
Everybody tears their asses out of
the office early thinking that oh,
I'm going to beat the traffic...yeah right!

Result?
All ground arteries of travel
entering or exiting Dallas
become clogged and impassable.
So, we all sit there looking at each other
on the highways like a bunch of chimps
in the primate house at the zoo.

Solution?
Unless you work for emergency services
where your job actually means something
to someone, stay home and enjoy some hot
chocolate with your loved one! Work will be
there tomorrow, trust me!
