Cool Fresh coat of wax

Washed my Alti yesterday, and after an hour of hard work I now have a VERY shiny car. A fresh coat of Meguiar's Gold Class Wax and it's lookin good.

I try to wax it at least every 6 weeks. Takes at least an hour... black is a pain in the a** to keep clean and shiny.

Silver and grey are the easiest colors to take care of...

But, then again, 1 out every 3 cars is that color too...boring.

That's 1 of the reasons I didn't buy grey or silver. I wanted something that looked great clean, and was not as common. It took me 3 months to get my Alti because of that (special order).

I used to use "Eagle 1" Wet Polish with teflon. After a coat of that it looked like the car was factory shiney!

Mequire's is good too

I never tried Eagle 1, have heard good things about Mother's and Zaino, but they are not easy to find like the Meguiar's

I have used Egale One spray Wet on and Dry off stuff....it took me 30 minutes to dry my car and that was it. I haven't wax my baby in 4 months...still look good after a regular soap and rinse car wash. Later!

But, eventually I will have to use the REAL stuff like Meguiar's wax before December weather!
