Luigi's = Best Italian food ever!

Had fun at the meet on Sat!
Whoever is not showing up at Luigi's is truly missing out. I ate there for the first time on Sat - amazing! Best alfredo sauce...so tasty....mmm...and the salad dressing! Yum! It was kind of like a tomatoey-italian type thing. And the bread! OMG. So good. So I must give props to Damir and his family for their wonderful food! Great prices too!

Man, I'm hungry now

Anyway, thanks for the great food and service! Everyone, seriously, ya'll gotta get out there and try it! You will be soooo glad you did!

Luigi's has great food and great service...Something you sometimes don't get with a bigger chain restaurant....

Good italian food doesn't have to be expensive...Think about it...we're not talking about Filet Mignon here...it's noodles and sauce....true ingredient cost is probably only 50 cents....

I've been to i Fratellis a couple of times and love their Pizza, but I'm not a big fan of their pasta. Luigi's wins in my mind. I've heard GOOD things about Magiano's so I'll definitely check it out....

Finally...we're just talking opinions here...People have different tastes...Tekmode likes iFratelli better than Luigi's....I like Luigi's better.....woo hoo! I'm not just going to "trust" his opinion because he FEELS the way he does and I don't expect him to trust the way I feel (heck we don't even know each other )...

However, Luigi's will still have better prices, and I don't know about you, but I like the fact that I'm supporting the family restaurant of a friend and fellow car enthusiast.

Thanks for the support: Stephanie, J.J., and Alex, as indicated above everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The fact is that Luigi's will continue to sponsor and support Team Nvus.

Ronnie has informed me that he is willing to add draft beer to the bevarage menu .

For some great NY style Pizza, check out Nicks. Its just off of 407 in Highland Village, so no beer, but great pizza.

(I'm late replying to this thread, and Alex is probably the only one who knows who I am anyway ).

I've never been to Luigi's (or any other restaurant in Big D), but I concur with BlueBOB's grandmother (from another thread). Having lived in New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, and now Austin:

Austin: Best Mexican food I've ever tasted, though my Mexican-American buddy from San Antonio insists it can't hold a candle to S.A.

New York: Best Italian food I've ever tasted.

Philadelphia: Best cheese steak hoagie I've ever tasted, and they're right up there with New York with regards to Italian food.

Toronto: Best Greek food I've ever tasted (They also have some very good Italian, Chinese, and Thai restaurants. Come to think about it, Toronto has the best food selection I've ever seen).
